4th Annual Burns Night/Dave's Bday!

The Balvenie and Glenfiddich Tasting starts promptly at 8 p.m. Limited seating! Must get here early for a spot! 

This year will be hosted at The Painted Lady for our annual night of poems, whisky, haggis, maybe a bit o' Scotch music and Bday celebration.

Burns' Night is traditionally a night in honor of Scottish poet Robert Burns with a haggis centered meal, lots of whisky drinking and his poetry...but we add our own twist. 

Here’s the rules - bring a ‘poem’ of some kind. Doesn’t have to be actual poetry: it can be your favorite speech, some erotic slash fanfic you found on the internet, the nutritional info on the back of a chip packet, or whatever else you like that has some approximation of words. Then read it to the crowd. The best reading will receive the coveted "Burns' Night 2018" trophy. And if you don’t want to read, just come and eat and drink with us.

This year, there will actually be good whisky, thanks to the people at the Painted Lady, who’ve put together a rather spiffing whisky tasting for us too!
